Accessibility

We have aimed at the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. In practice that means:

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines
• A skip link jumps straight to the main content
• Headings run in a logical order so screen readers can navigate
• Text and background colours are tested for contrast
• Text resizes without the layout breaking
• Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
• Forms have real labels, and errors are announced clearly

This site uses scrolling animation and movement as part of its design. If your device or browser is set to reduce motion, all of it is switched off automatically — parallax, drifting shapes, the scrolling ticker and reveal effects all stop, and content appears immediately instead. You do not need to ask us for that; it happens on its own.

We would rather be honest about the gaps:

• Some property photography does not yet have detailed descriptive alt text
• We have not yet completed a full audit with a screen reader user
• Any third-party booking system added in future will need checking separately

Accessibility in our properties varies — some are ground floor or lift-served, others are townhouses with stairs. If you have specific requirements, tell us when you enquire and we will give you an honest answer about which properties will work, including step-free access, bathroom layouts and parking distances.
